Terms of Service

Last updated: July 17, 2026

This page describes how YAR currently works as accurately as we can. It hasn't been reviewed by a lawyer yet — treat it as accurate but provisional until the team confirms it's final.

Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using YAR, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

What YAR is

YAR is an education platform covering regular school subjects and Kankor exam preparation, built by BAMAA for students in Afghanistan.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password private and for anything that happens under your account. Please give accurate information when you sign up so we can personalize your learning correctly.

Guest access

You can try a public exam as a guest before creating an account. Some features, like saving your progress permanently, require a real account.

Acceptable use

Please use YAR only for your own learning. Don't try to disrupt the platform, access other students' accounts, or misuse content meant for your own study.

Content

Lessons, questions, and other learning materials on YAR belong to YAR/BAMAA or our content partners. If you upload something, like a photo of your own work, you keep ownership of it — you're just giving us permission to process it in order to give you feedback.

Account deactivation

You can deactivate your account at any time from Settings. We may also suspend or restrict an account that misuses the platform or violates these terms.

No guarantee of availability

We do our best to keep YAR available and working well, including for students on slow or unreliable connections, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted access.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as YAR grows. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
